One arrest after street 'stabbing' in Llanelli town centre
A LLANELLI man has been arrested after a suspected stabbing in the town centre.
Police confirmed an arrest had been made following an incident in Station Road, which saw a man in his 20s taken to hospital.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 47-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.”
She said the incident had taken place at the top of Station Road near the Theatr Elli building — not outside the new Odeon cinema as rumours in the town had suggested.
