Go-ahead on turbine
PLANS for a large wind turbine on the outskirts of Carmarthen have been approved — despite opposition from some residents.
The turbine, which will stand at 27 metres tall, is earmarked for land at Constant Farm, near Bancyfelin.
Concerns raised included the visual and noise impact, and a loss of agricultural land. But developers claim only a small proportion of the community objected.
