Ystradgynlais town council seek new web site
A SWANSEA Valley Town council is to invite an expert to a future meeting to help it decide on a new website.
Ystradgynlais Town Council has yet to set up a new website to comply to a ruling that all local councils should have an internet presence in the near future.
Town clerk Brian Rees said: "The Welsh Government has made £500 available.
"About 70 per cent of councils have got one but within the next two years they have to deliver one and a lot of communication with the public will come through that."
Mr Rees told councillors — some who admitted not being up-to-date with the technology — that he would arrange for a web designer to visit a council meeting.
