A YOUTH Pact meeting has been held in Aberavon for the first time.

Twelve local youths attended the meeting, which was run by PCSO Richard Jones at the SA12 youth club.

Issues discussed by the youngsters included the poor condition of the grass area in Newton Avenue, Nobel Avenue junction, and the poor lighting at the MUGA park in the evenings.

Flytipping, street litter and anti-social behaviour from people older than themselves were also raised.
