Youth Gala Concert in Y Ffwrnes
A CHARITY fundraiser is due to start a new year of gala concerts in Llanelli's latest theatre.
Cerith Owens, of Loud Applause Productions, will kick off 2013 with a Youth Gala Concert at the new Y Ffwrnes in the town, on January 26.
The evening will feature Only (West) Boys Aloud, of Britain's Got Talent fame, along with the town's Hywel Girls and Boy Singers and Cor Ysgol y Strade.
Cellist Steffan Morris will fly home from Vienna especially to perform at the event.

The evening's compere is TV broadcaster Garry Owen and the sold-out concert will raise vital funds for the Teenage Cancer Unit at the University Hospital in Cardiff.
In March Cerith will team up with Carmarthenshire Theatres to co-produce another St David's Gala Concert in Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre, before a concert at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea, on May 4, in aid of Ty Hafan Children's Hospice.
