YOUNG talent will dazzle the crowd at Swansea's Grand Theatre tomorrow, with another installment of The Best Is Yet To Come.

From 7pm singers, dancers, actors and comics aged 4 to 18 will get an early taste of performing on a big stage, with the talent show raising cash for the newly-opened Maggie's Cancer Centre at Swansea's Singleton Hospital.

Organiser and general fairy godmother of the proceedings, Alex Frith MBE, says she never tires of its sparkle, even after 20 years. "I was doing this long before Simon Cowell. The whole point is to give youngsters from the ages of 4 to 18 the chance to perform.

"I used to be a judge of junior talent competitions, and although they were great for those who won prizes they were heartbreaking for the children who did not.

"The main thing with the Best Is Yet To Come is they are all winners."

To date, the Best Is Yet To Come and its sister event Bumbles of Mumbles, have raised more than £280,000 for charity.
