Yellow Weather warning for ice for Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and
The Met Office has this evening issued a Yellow Warning for icy conditions for much of the western half of Wales.
The forecasters are warning of wintry showers tonight and into Wednesday morning for Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Anglesey.Snowfall of several centimetres is predicted for higher ground.
Temperatures are expected to drop to -2C overnight, and there is a warning of ice on untreated roads and of possible travel disruption for tomorrow.
Wednesday is set to be a day of cloud and sunny intervals, with temperatures climbing to 6C or 7C, but with a cold northerly wind.
