X Factor star Joe McElderry adds the sparkle to Swansea fireworks celebration
X FACTOR star Joe McElderry will be bringing an extra bit of sparkle to Swansea on bonfire night.
The 21-year-old, who won the competition two years ago, will be performing at the annual fireworks celebration at St Helen's Rugby Ground.
Joe rose to fame after beating competition from fellow stars Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon in the contest in 2009, later going on to win Popstar to Opera Star.
Swansea Council cabinet member for regeneration Nick Bradley said Joe would join a long line of musical talents to perform in the city.
