Woodland site plan
PLANS for a timber processing building near Llandeilo have been submitted to Carmarthenshire Council's planning department.
The building, which would be at Slatehill Farmhouse, Edwinsford, in Talley, would be used to process timber from the 28 acres of nearby mixed woodland.
The planning application states that this woodland needs to be thinned in July this year.
The structure would stand at 8.8 metres tall and 355 metres squared.
It would be built in a 32-acre patch of land, 28 acres of which are currently occupied by woodland.
Submitted by a Mr Jonathan Heron, of Slatehill Farm, earlier this month, the plans will now go through the county council's consultation process, when members of the public can submit their comments to the council.
