A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a road traffic accident between Loughor and Gowerton this morning.

Fire crews and paramedics rushed to Pont-y-Cob Road where two vehicles had collided at 8.23am.

Firefighters had to cut free a female driver from her car.

The woman was later conveyed to Morriston hospital by paramedics.
