Woman arrested in connection with Roath kitten theft
A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a person was filmed apparently bundling a kitten into a handbag in a pet shop and leaving without paying.
Kitten Little Boy is back on mouse patrol at the pet shop from where he was removed on Saturday morning.
Publicity surrounding the kitten's disappearance from Albany Pets in Roath, Cardiff, was said to have been instrumental in Little Boy's liberation.
Jubilant shop owner Carol Ivory, 60, described herself as "hugely relieved" that the kitten was back with her unharmed.

She had been looking after the 10-week-old kitten and its mother for a friend who was away on holiday.
"Little Boy is back with his mum and they are absolutely delighted to see each other. I was hugely relieved to see he was unharmed," Mrs Ivory said.
"I could tell as soon as I picked him up that he had not lost any weight, although he ate a whole packet of his food as soon as I fed him.
"So all's well that ends well. It is nice to have a happy ending for once."
South Wales Police said they had arrested a 41-year-old woman on suspicion of commercial burglary. She was today in custody being questioned.
A spokeswoman confirmed the kitten was located unharmed and had been returned to Mrs Ivory.
