Winner to sing at gala concert
A HIGHLY acclaimed singer will soon be appearing in Carmarthen.
After his recent win in televised singing competition Llais i Gymru, tenor Trystan Llyr Griffiths is now preparing to perform in the St David's Day Gala Concert at the Lyric Theatre on Saturday, March 2.
Cerith Owens, director of Loud Applause Productions, said: "It has been a coup to secure Trystan.
"Following his recent success he is now in great demand.

Alongside Trystan will be world famous Morriston Orpheus Male Choir, which has not performed in Carmarthen for more than 20 years. The choir, under the baton of Joy Amman Davies, will be joined by Côr Ysgol Bro Myrddin with musical director Meinir Richards.
