Wheelie good bins solution
AFTER two weeks of storing black bin bags full of refuse it is no wonder the smell of rotting refuse attracts so many cats and rats.
The smell is truly abysmal on a humid day — flies swarm around any sacks left for a long period.
Recycling is no problem — perhaps wearing surgical gloves would prevent someone from contracting bacterial infections. Cutting your hand on a can leaves a nasty infection if not attended to promptly. There must be a solution. Why couldn't some enterprising private company collect sacks on the weeks omitted by the council?
Storage bins/wheelie bins might be the answer — infections by sifting rubbish is not on.
