WEST End visit Taffs Well tonight (7.30pm) in a top-of-the-table clash which could have a major bearing on the race for the MacWhirter Welsh League division one title.

The Pryderi Park side are currently fourth in the table, trailing leaders Taffs Well by seven points.

But West End have three games in hand on the table-toppers, four on Cambrian & Clydach in second and five on third-placed Barry Town.

The battle for the title looks set to go down to the wire, with only eight points separating Taffs Well at the summit and AFC Porth in seventh place.

West End will be aiming to claim a third successive win, having scored 12 goals in their last two victories over Porth and Bryntirion Athletic.

But they will be up against a similarly prolific Taffs Well side, who have won their last four league encounters and scored 18 in the process.

In tonight's other match, Bryntirion visit Aberdare.
