West End close on leaders
WEST End moved up to second spot in division one of the MacWhirter Welsh League with a 3-1 win at Tata Steel.
They are now just four points off leaders Taffs Well, but have two games in hand.
West End took the lead when Kieren Cullen fired home after Darren Griffiths's shot was parried. But Tata levelled close to the interval through Liam Soroka.
West End upped the tempo in the second half and went back in front when Sam Brown crossed, Chris Old chested the ball down and Cullen scored his second of the game.

And they sealed the points when Darren Griffiths and Ashley Wright combined for Jordan Davies to net the third.
Pontardawe Town were left frustrated after a 3-2 defeat at home to Aberdare Town.
The Swansea Valley side were two goals up in the seventh minute. And after falling behind, they missed an injury-time penalty.
Chris Allen put Ponty ahead in the opening 45 seconds, then quickly made it two.
But Aberdare found their feet, with James Bradford halving the deficit. And Sam Small headed home an equaliser not long after Allen had been denied by the post.
Aberdare went in front in added time through Richie Evans, but Ponty had a chance to equalise in the closing seconds, only for Gary Taylor to see his penalty saved.
Goytre United claimed a vital three points with a 2-1 defeat of Cwmbran Celtic.
Cwmbran opened the scoring through Owen Llewellyn. Ryan Morgan levelled and Richard Ryan won it for Goytre ten minutes from time.
