Watchdog says Welsh water companies are having less written complaints
A WATCHDOG has welcomed a fall in the number of complaints against a utilities firm but says more needs to be done.
Findings show levels of written complaints against Welsh water firms have dropped.
CCWater's annual Written Customer Complaints Report has found the number of people complaining against Dee Valley Water fell by more than 28 per cent, along with Wales's biggest water company Dwr Cymru/ Welsh Water also saw a fall of more than 14 per cent.
Dee Valley Water's complaints fell at twice the rate of the previous year while Dwr Cymru reduced written complaints for a third successive year — now they are half they were in 2004/05.
