Wannabe writers flock to Swansea Central Library event
SCORES of wannabe writers flocked to Swansea Central Library to celebrate the launch of National Novel Writing Month.
Numerous novice novelists joined library staff to mark the event with the help of publishers Parthian Books, who were on hand to offer advice to interested writers.
A challenge has also been launched with budding writers being encouraged to write 50,000 words in 30 day. Swansea Central Library will be holding drop-in sessions every Wednesday morning for those taking part throughout November between 11am and 3pm.
A library spokeswoman said: "I am very pleased with the amount of people interested in this project.
"Everyone seemed excited and enthusiastic to step up to the challenge."
