FEW sights can rival the Welsh countryside in autumn.

So the National Trust has launched the Great Welsh Walk — a celebration of our glorious landscape in the fall.

From this month there will be more than 50 guided walks and no fewer than 70 downloadable self-led trails available at National Trust places across Wales all the way through to the start of November.

National Trust coastal engagement project manager Richard Neale said: "There are routes for people of every age and ability and our guided walks are planned around themes like wildlife, hidden history, family fun, ghost stories, renewable energy and even wild mushrooms.
