GEORGE North will start for the Scarlets in their Heineken Cup tie away at Exeter tomorrow (3.40pm) after recovering from a hip injury.

The Wales wing has not played since Wales's defeat to Samoa last month, and his recall sees Liam Williams move back to full-back from the flank.

Another international, back-rower Aaron Shingler, misses out with a groin injury, so South African lock George Earle comes in at blindside flanker.

Aled Thomas starts at fly-half in place of Rhys Priestland, who was ruled out for the season after rupturing his Achilles during last weekend's home defeat to Exeter.

There are also starts for Gareth Maule on the wing, Llanelli prop Shaun Hopkins and hooker Ken Owens, while Rhodri Jones is back on the bench after a shoulder injury.

The Scarlets will have little more than pride to play for after losing all three of their Heineken Cup pool matches so far this season.
