Four of Wales's title winners on Six Nations shortlist for player of the tournament
FOUR of Wales's Six Nations title-winning side have been nominated for the official RBS player of the tournament award.
Scrum-half Mike Phillips, full-back Leigh Halfpenny, prop Adam Jones and fly-half Dan Biggar are among a 15-man shortlist for the accolade, won last year by Wales flanker Dan Lydiate.

England, hammered 30-3 by Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, have just two on the list - skipper Chris Robshaw and fly-half Owen Farrell - while wooden spoon winners France have three in No. 8 Louis Picamoles, prop Nicolas Mas and centre Mathieu Bastareuad.
Italy also have three in talismanic No. 8 Sergio Parrise, fellow back-rower Alessandro Zanni and full-back Andrea Masi, while Ireland have two, Brian O'Driscoll and Connor Murray and Scotland just the one in full-back Stuart Hogg.

“All 4 were outstanding, but for me the one who stod out the most was Leigh Halfpenny. Fearless under the high ball, quick on the break and abolutely immense with his kicking boots on. A shoe in for me to start for the lions”
