Wales legend Gareth Edwards backs Sam Warburton for Lions
GARETH Edwards says Sam Warburton has put himself back in the British and Irish Lions selection mix.
Warburton was outstanding at Murrayfield as Wales defeated Scotland 28-18.
Warburton began the season as favourite to be Lions skipper for this summer's tour of Australia, but a difficult season — in which he has suffered a drop in form and injury problems — meant he fell behind the likes of England captain Chris Robshaw in the pecking order.
But he was man of the match in the defeat of the Scots, with Wales and Lions legend Edwards hailing his performance.

He told BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme: "I think he fully deserved the man-of-the match award.
"He had a lot of pressure on him but he delivered the goods.
"He was very physical and great in the tackle area. Lots of questions were asked — should Tipuric have been left out? — but we have the beauty of two outstanding young players.
"I thought Sam Warburton really put himself back into the frame as far as the Lions is concerned as well. He really had an outstanding match."
