Vorm and de Guzman in Holland squad
Jonathan de Guzman and Michel Vorm have been named in the Holland squad for a friendly against Italy in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
It is the first time that de Guzman has been called into the senior squad, having previously won four caps for the Under-21 side.
The midfielder, on loan from Villarreal, has impressed at the Liberty Stadium this season.

“The current team and their performance has to be better than the only other time we were in the top league. As part of our meteoric rise and fall we were top of the division once. Tosh brought in seel by date Scousers such as Smith. Callaghan. Irvin. Kennedy & Boersma. Ok for a short time but not long term. Malcom Struel had to be congratulated int taking a scummer playing for Liverpool and making him player manager. Tosh has managed all over Europe and the Welsh team twice but Struel gave him the first chance. The first game Tosh & co played was a home tie against Spurs in the league cup which is now the Capital one cup. Ossy Ardilles was fresh from winning the World cup with Argentina. Tommy Smiths first tackle put him in row 12 of the double decker stand. But memories like that pale into insignificance against what ML is doing
Jenkins is a different kettle of fish as a Chairman. He plays the long game as the transfer of DG proves. The supporters trust is a wondeful asset as they remember the Tony Petty episode and the begging bowl being passed around at league grounds to help stave off administration.
We are the Swans. We haven't been renamed or re-branded to make us more marketable in some distant land. I visit S.E.Asia regularly where on Saturday night/Sunday morning the PL games are shown. We have a huge following there due to the skills of our team.
There may have been a little local difficulty lately over the sale of DG but HJ has taken us to levels we have never seen before so he is a safe pair of hands.
Hugh Jenkins Jr.”

“Players on the verge of the Spanish and Dutch squads, a cup final looming, 8th in the Premier league. I've asked this question several times in the last few years and the answer has always been yes, but can it get any better?
With our current board and manager (and a fine squad too) I think the answer is still YES!!”
