“The show on Sunday night was amazing and we had great feedback,” he said. “It is our first all-girl group and they are really sending out a positive message to girls.”
Mr Michael said they were now trying to get as much public support as possible.
“We have set up a new twitter account @notoriousdancers and Facebook page to try to drum up support,” he said.
“We are the only Welsh group to make the competition.”
Only 30 acts were chosen to progress through to the next round. A public vote will decide the 10 finalists.
Fellow TDM members Thomas Carsley and group Sugar Sweet both received three gold stars from the judges but were not picked for the final 30.
Mr Michael is in the running for the teacher/mentor of the year prize at the Evening Post’s Pride Awards.
