“worse singer to come out of Wales, overrated, vain, should get no points this year.”

“The singers equivalent of "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here". If Bonnie is lucky, Eurovision will revitalise her career, if not - who cares.
The competition is a joke, but not half as funny as it used to be with Terry Wogan doing the commentary. Let's hope some of the other countries put up some loonie entries like the Russian Grannies of last year.”

“Engelbert .....Bonnie Tyler......next year?
How about Cliff Richard or Sir Macca himself?
Never again a word that Britain doesn't value their OAP's!!”

“Sorry, but I don't think this is a "standout song". I wish it was. With the right song, I'm sure Bonny could knock 'em dead.
Finally, if the Eastern Bloc gang up with each other at the next Eurovision Contest. I think the UK should jack it in”

“The song is average but we may do ok as the Bonnie is a lot more popular in other European countries”

“It is often the same maxmin, they tried the dance thing with several artists and even for dance tunes (I am not the biggest fan anyway) they were always bad. Now they seem to be moving away from that at last but still the song last year was very, very bad lol.
I thought Engelbert himself was decent enough, granted he has lost a little of the voice through age, but he is still a draw in Vegas and you need talent for that. The songwriters let him down massively and that was on top of the usual anti-UK sentiment.
I just wish Bonnie herself had written the song, then it would have been pretty good... her track record on that front speaks for itself. Multi-Platinum even in the United States during a era when going Platinum required millions of sales.
Saying that though, it looks as though they went Stateside this time and mayve their folks can do better than our own lol. :)”
