VIDEO: New campaign gives six reasons to visit Swansea
VIDEOS of Swansea are being shared with the world to encourage all types of visitors.
The six videos, which have been uploaded to YouTube, each have a theme and are aimed at showcasing the city and Gower.
One concentrates on attracting families and the another is aimed at dog lovers.
The other themes are romantic breaks, culture, photography and thrill-seeking.
The campaign, called Make the Weekend Last a Lifetime, is being spearheaded by Swansea Council.
One of its aims is to encourage Premier League football fans to spend more time in Swansea Bay instead of just spending 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium.
Locations in the video promoting Swansea Bay as a place for romantic breaks include the Worm’s Head Hotel, Oxwich Bay and Oystermouth Castle.
Rhossili Bay, Clyne Valley Country Park and the King's Head pub in Llangennith are among the locations featured in the pet-friendly promotional video, which stars a golden retriever called Dex.
Nick Bradley, Swansea Council’s cabinet member for regeneration, said: “Swansea Bay has so much going for it as a visitor destination for both people in the UK and overseas.
