VIDEO: Jonjo Shelvey on the Liverpool game
JONJO Shelvey speaks leading up to Monday night's match with Liverpool at the Liberty.
The former Liverpool player will be hoping for a win against his former club.
He has said he had no regrets about leaving his former club.
“It was a big decision, but I felt like it was something I needed to do,” said the midfielder.
“I didn’t want to just sit on the bench and pick up money.
“I felt it was time for me to come away and get some consistency.
“I needed to play more games and I’m glad a club like Swansea were interested in me.
“I didn’t see it as a backwards step. It might have made more sense to come on loan, but I wanted to feel part of things.
“I was at Liverpool and we won the Carling Cup, but I didn’t make the bench, so I wasn’t really there in one way.”
