Union protest support
A NEATH-BASED AM has stepped out in a show of support for a group of Welsh trade unionists taking their protest to London.
Bethan Jenkins, AM for South Wales West, walked the Cardiff to Newport stretch with the trio who started off on the 156-mile walk from the Welsh capital to London to take part on the TUC's A Future that Works rally later this month.

She set out alongside Richard Evans, of the Public and Commercial Services Union, Cerith Griffiths, from the Fire Brigades Union, and Steffan Ap Dafydd, of the National Union of Teachers, on Saturday.
Bethan said the trio had her full support.
