A DRIVER has been arrested during a routine police patrol in Skewen.

Complaints were made at successive Pact meetings of vehicles parked on double yellow lines in New Road.

Patrols have been carried out and, during one, officers spoke to the driver of a car parked on zig-zag lines.

PCSO Dominic Edgell said: "This male was subsequently found to have no tax, no insurance and no MOT certificate. He was arrested for being intoxicated. The vehicle was seized."
