UPDATE: Police given longer to question Newbridge murder suspect
Gwent Police has been granted a warrant to detain a murder suspect for further questioning.
The 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering Kyle Vaughan on Thursday and remains in police custody.

Kyle Vaughan's disappearance has now become a murder inquiry
A 36-hour warrant for further detention was granted by Caerphilly Magistrates Court yesterday. Kyle, from Newbridge, has been missing since December 30 and police are now treating the investigation as murder.
The 62-year-old man arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice on Friday has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
