“Almost daily there are accidents on this stretch of the M4 motorway. We never hear of the cause of the daily accidents or what's being done to limit/reduce the accidents. Is it to do with the road surface, the reduction of speed from 70 to 50mph, the road junctions, congestion on the feeder/slip roads causing traffic to back up on the motorway????? What's the Police doing about it? Would it make sense to have a constant Police presence on the motorway near this part of the M4. What are the Highway Authority doing about this accident spot? Would better warning signage of traffic conditions, Police assistance to clear traffic leaving the motorway thereby reducing traffic backing up onto the motorway.....from what I have seen - it needs proactive policing to sort out this problem out and a traffic management plan for feeder roads to improve the flow of traffic on and off the motorway.”
