Trimsaran pair Simon Dean Andrews, 42, and Darren John Cooke, 32, to stand trial accused of two separate charges

TWO men have appeared in court, pleading not guilty to separate charges of burglary and handling stolen goods.

Simon Dean Andrews, 42, of Heol Llanelli, Trimsaran, denied entering Gwenllian Court Hotel between November 30 and December 3 last year, and stealing two computers, electric cable and power tools.

Bail

Andrews spoke only to confirm his name and address, and enter the plea at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.

Co-defendant, Darren John Cooke, 32, of Argoed Crescent, Trimsaran, denied handling those goods on December 5, 2012. He confirmed his name, address and date of birth to the court.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction, and the pair will stand trial at Swansea Crown Court.

Cooke and Andrews were both given unconditional bail, and must next appear at Swansea on Friday, March 22.
