Travel chaos alert
WARNINGS of travel disruption and flooding have been issued by the Met Office as heavy rain continues across the country.
Environment Agency Wales yesterday issued four flood alerts for rivers in Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Flintshire and Gwynedd and warned driving conditions could be hazardous.
Met Office chief forecaster Steve Willington said: "Everyone should be prepared for the effects of heavy rain and strong to gale force winds as they combine to bring the potential for travel disruption and localised flooding over the next few days."
