Transgender accused goes on trial
A TRANSGENDER man has gone on trial accused of three charges of sexual assault.
Dean Williams, also known as Nadine, denies one charge of rape of a woman and two charges of assault by penetration.

A jury of eight women and four men was sworn in for the trial at Swansea Crown Court but no evidence was heard.
Members of the jury were told Williams, 39, of Dan-y-coed, Tonmawr, is now known as Nadine Natasha Williams after changing his name by deed poll. They were also told Williams is awaiting a sex change operation.
