EARLIER:

ANY traffic heading east was being warned to expect some disruption on certain roads this morning, including the M4 and A470.

Traffic Wales was reporting congestion and possible delays on the M4 eastbound at the junction 33 Capel Llanilltern sliproad.

Further along the M4 eastbound there was similar congestion and possible delays between junction 28 Tredegar Park to junction 26 Malpas.

On the A470 southbound, from Natgarw to Coryton there was congestion and delays reported, and also on the A470 northbound Natgarw slip road.
