A CHRISTMAS tradition could make a comeback in the Neath Valley.

Glynneath Town Council used to run an annual mayoress' appeal, but it ended some years ago.

Now the council is looking at the possibility of bringing it back, following a suggestion by one of its members, Janet Gregory.

Inquiries will be made to social services and the matter will come back to the council's October meeting.
