'Torture trap' kills cat
THE RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat in Bynea was caught in a gin trap.
The animal's injuries were so severe that she had to be put to sleep.
The young female feral cat somehow managed to drag herself and the trap to the street. She was very distressed as the trap had completely shattered her leg, creating a very deep wound.
During sedation the vet decided to put the cat to sleep.
