TORCHWOOD star John Barrowman was taken to hospital after injuring himself on stage during a pantomime.

The actor was performing in a matinee of Jack And The Beanstalk in Glasgow when he was hurt riding a horse.

Barrowman was taken to hospital as a precaution and is not thought to have been seriously injured.

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre said: "John Barrowman suffered an injury on stage and has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
