GORSEINON can take a significant step towards the third division title when they visit Pontyberem, who are also in promotion contention.

Craig Evans is set to return to the Gorseinon line-up, but Mike Murphy is unavailable.

Pontyberem should be able to field just about their strongest side, although there is a doubt about Gareth Isaac.

Gors are almost 50 points clear of second-placed Drefach and two more successful Saturdays could see them home and dry.

Drefach entertain Baglan knowing they need a positive result to maintain their push for a top-two finish, and they are strengthened by the return of several key players as captain Alan Carter, vice-captain Dafydd Humphries and Nick Middleton are back in the fold.

Baglan, who have suffered with their consistency, are expecting to be at full strength.

Pwll, on the fringe of the promotion race, will be without several key men for the home match against Hills Plymouth, though run machine Marcus Leaf is in the line-up and will open the batting.

Bronwydd, who have gone through a tricky period, host Cimla, while Swansea Civil Service and Llandarcy — two clubs at the wrong end of the table — clash head on in a match vital to both outfits.

Llandarcy are without a win this season and desperately need points.
