Time for tea as charity helps to brew up equality backing
A TEA party has been thrown in Swansea to help promote equality.
Guests included Swansea East MP Sian James, Swansea West MP Geraint Davies, Swansea Council leader David Phillips, Swansea West AM Julie James, South Wales Police Inspector Andy Rees, and Swansea Councillor and Cabinet Member Mitch Theaker. Peter Martin, chairman of Spectrum South West Wales who organised the event said: "It is the one day of the year where people, their friends and family from across the region come together to have a great day out.
"There's a serious side to the event though and there are always a wide range of public sector bodies and local charities on site promoting their services to visitors.
"It is fantastic that so many of our elected representatives showed their support for our tea party and engaging in a lively and stimulating conversation."
