A shoplifter made off with 11 copies of the new James Bond film from a town department store.

Skyfall had only been on the shelves at Matalan in Stephens Way, Pensarn, for a couple of hours before the 007 fan hit the store on Monday, February 18.

It was very much a case of light-finger rather than Goldfinger, when the man, believed to be in his 30s, struck.

Staff said he had a paunch and was wearing a baseball cap when entered around 11am — before leaving with the haul worth more than

£100. Matalan manager Ayse Dorson said the culprit removed the films from a display near the tills before walking out of the store.
