I COULD not agree more with the letter from G Davies (Evening Post, September 1) with regard to his praise of Mel Nurse.
I was in the same Swansea Schoolboys group as Melvyn.
The manager of what was then the Swansea Town team offered me a place in the set-up.
My father said: "No, there is no money in football. Concentrate on your studies."
