I WOULD like to say a huge thanks to all your kind-hearted readers for supporting British Heart Foundation Cymru's annual South Wales Bike Ride back in September.

We raised over £40,000 which will help us continue to invest in lifesaving research work and vital prevention and care programmes.

The event attracted more than 1,000 people and this year we hope it will be even bigger to enable us to fight for every heartbeat here in Wales.

This year's bike ride is on Sunday, June 23, starting and ending at the Recreation Ground in Mumbles Road, Swansea.
