Swimmers dive in for charity effort
SPONSORED swimmers raised £3,000 to help children with terminal cancer have their wishes come true.
Twenty nine swimmers took part in the Estuary Swim from Burry Port Harbour to Llanelli on Sunday to raise the cash for the Joshua Foundation.

The event was a resurrection of a 75-year old tradition.
Organiser Daryl Owen, a lifeguard at Llanelli Leisure Centre, said: "It went very well.
"There was a bit of a crowd to see us off from the harbour and some people at Llanelli beach.
"As it was a success and raised an estimated £3,000, we will be doing it again next year.
"I know that the quickest person completed the swim in under an hour."
He thanked the safety crews who made the event possible and praised all those who took part.
"I hope it will be a bigger event next year when we hope to make it more of a community event." he added.
