Swansea school Ysgol Pen y Bryn celebrates St David with two dragons
PUPILS at a Swansea school were treated to some old-fashioned storytelling with dragons in honour of St David. Ysgol Pen y Bryn teacher Simon Tucker organised the event as part of Welsh Week.
He enlisted storyteller Carl Gough to devise a dramatic retelling of the Dinas Emrys Legend, which is the original story of the red dragon of Wales.

Mr Gough said: "Traditional storytelling is a powerful medium on its own, but it was clear that actively involving the children was important.
"Dragons are important to the story and what better way to get them involved than for the children to play the two dragons."
