Swansea restaurants cook up places in top guide
TWO Swansea restaurants are celebrating after their cuisine won them a place in the pages of a prestigious food guide.
Both Munch of Mumbles and Rasoi in Pontlliw are among the latest entries in the Wales Waitrose Good Food Guide 2014.
The restaurants are among 12 new Welsh entries of the guide, which is being published next week.
Wright's Independent Food Emporium in Nantgaredig, Carmarthenshire, is also featured.
It's the aim of the UK's best selling restaurant guide to champion the best of dining in Wales — with a total of 75 restaurants, pubs and cafés from across the region.
Jacqui Lewis Griffiths, who is joint owner of Munch, said: "We are thrilled. "My husband Ben has worked solidly in the last eight months to produce the food that he has. It's a great achievement for us and we are thrilled."
Jas Kullar, owner of Rasoi in Pontlliw, added: "We're thrilled to have been selected as one of just two Swansea restaurants to appear in the Waitrose Good Food Guide 2014.
"To be recognised by such a prestigious brand renowned for its high quality products is overwhelming and we are very proud."
