Swansea girls in GB swim squad
SWANSEA swimmers Jazz Carlin, Georgia Davies and Jemma Lowe have been named in a 19-strong Great Britain squad for next month's World Short Course Swimming Championships in Istanbul.
For 22-year-old Carlin, a double Commonwealth Games medallist, it marks a return to the national squad following the disappointment of missing out on a place at this summer's London Olympics.
British Swimming have named 16 members of the 2012 Olympic team, including Davies and Lowe, for the December 12-16 event in Turkey.
Head coach David McNulty said: "Anytime our swimmers are up against the best in the world means it's an important event.
