Fears
There were also fears that the houses could lead to further development, leading to a loss of open spaces.
Pontlliw and Tircoed Community Council has objected to the plans.
Swansea planning officers have recommended the scheme for approval, subject to several conditions and the applicant providing two affordable "housing units" and a £38,352 education contribution.
Members of Swansea's Area 1 Development Control Committee are due to determine the application on Tuesday.
