Swansea Tesco throat-slash self-harmer on the mend
A MAN who slashed his own throat after going berserk in a city Tesco store is on the mend in hospital.
His condition is said to be improving following the horrific self-harming episode at the Tesco Extra in Fforestfach on Tuesday night.

Police are still unable to go into detail about exactly what happened as a referral has been made to the Independent Police Complaints Commission to see if it needs to carry out an investigation.
A decision on that is due imminently.
Although police cannot comment on the incident, they have confirmed the 28-year-old man's condition had improved and he was now stable at Morriston Hospital.
However, because of his injury they have not yet been able to talk to him.
From what the Post has learned, the man went into the store at around 10.15pm on Tuesday, took a knife from the kitchenware section and then went upstairs. By then staff had become suspicious of his behaviour and called the police.
Officers, including some armed personnel, arrived and evacuated shoppers and staff from the store.
It is after they arrived that the man injured himself. He was taken by ambulance to hospital and the store was later reopened.
Writing on the Facebook social networking site, shopper Bethan Strangward said: "I was there.
"I got evacuated from there by police with guns . . . staff were saying a man was upstairs and had gone bonkers."
The incident was referred to the IPCC as a legal requirement because the police was present when the man hurt himself.
An IPCC spokesman told the Post: "The case has now been looked at.
"A recommendation has been made and we are awaiting a final decision."
