Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend set to work together to prevent youths offending
PROPOSALS to create a single management board to co-ordinate the Youth Offending Service in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend is set to go before cabinet members.
The Swansea Council executive is being asked to agree to move forward the case for the one body.
One authority would take the lead financially, becoming "banker for external funding", a report before members said.
The purpose of youth offending teams is to prevent offending by children and young people.

Under the new model, the resource focus will be on 10 to 17-year-olds across the three areas.
