Swansea City wait for news on Wilfried Bony
SWANSEA City are today waiting for news of Wilfried Bony after the striker featured in Ivory Coast's 4-1 thrashing by Mexico in the early hours of this morning.
Swansea's £12 million man played for 72 minutes in New Jersey as the Ivorians were well beaten, with Didier Drogba scoring a consolation goal from the penalty spot.
Bony's Swansea team-mate, Michel Vorm, played the full 90 minutes for Holland as they drew 1-1 in Portugal.
The goalkeeper looked set for a clean sheet after making two fine saves, but Cristiano Ronaldo struck for the Portuguese just four minutes from time.
Jonathan de Guzman did not feature for the Dutch after suffering concussion in training ahead of the game.
Swansea's medical staff will get the chance to assess de Guzman's injury when he flies back to Wales today.
Ashley Williams and Ben Davies both played the full 90 minutes as Wales drew with Republic of Ireland, while Neil Taylor came on for the last 15 minutes.
